DURING EACH MUSIC AND MOVEMENT CLASS WE OFFER A VARIETY OF MUSICAL EXPERIENCES FOR YOUR CHILD:
Singing - with music, dance, and instruments
Movement - with music, scarves, parachute,and other props
Music Theory - taught simply using pictures and symbols
Sound Stories - stories told through instrument sounds, play acting, and puppet theater
Instrument Workshop - recorded instrument sounds as well as live instruments are played for the children
Same age and multi-age classes available. (Infants are grouped separately) Each week an opening activity and craft is offered that follows the theme of the lesson! Class sizes are limited; parents are encouraged to participate with child!
PIANO, VOICE, FLUTE, RECORDER, MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL BAND STUDENTS:
Required to practice each week, and complete music theory activities/worksheets/computer work during class. Special projects including composing and performance on drums, xylophones, etc. are included, as well as holiday celebrations!
Cost for semester is more reasonable than other activities, and each additional family member receives a tuition discount!
